Parents/Guardians

We need to raise daughters to be strong and resilient. Self-confidence is a result of how we have been brought up. We learn our value through the eyes of our parents, our teacher, and our peers and these lessons affect how we view ourselves and how we view others. Low-confidence can be caused by fear of the unknown, criticism, poor self-esteem, feeling unprepared, poor time-management, lack of knowledge, and previous failures. So how can we help our girls so they can be more confident? Guiding parents to understand why confidence building is imperative in raising girls into adulthood has many benefits.

This workshop includes:

  • Offering ways to raise girls into confident women

  • Praising and appreciating their efforts

  • Being their cheerleader

  • Allowing them to try new things

  • Being a supportive parent and being in their corner

  • Inspiring them to take risks and letting them know it is okay to make mistakes
