Educators

Just like parents, teachers have an equally important role in confidence-building. Educators have the power to help or harm youth. Educators have the power to inspire, motivate, and expose their students to life lessons. Self-confidence encourages students to take risks, express their creativity, and helps them invest in the work they do at school. Teachers and parents both act as “models” for children and young girls and teachers should show them that it is okay to make mistakes and fail and that you should take accountability for your mistakes. Teaching girls that they can achieve whatever they put their minds too.
